Regular Polish Manicure?

Regular polish home manicure can come off quickly. Otherwise apply a light coat of top coat over nail tip every few days.

How does a Gel Polish Salon
Manicure work ?
Filing, Cuticles, Buffing & Polish. This a basic or express Gel Polish or sometimes call Shellac is applied similar to regular polish. But is cured under a Gel Led Lamp usually taking 30 seconds to dry. So there is no smudging, chipping or fading.
It can go straight on your bare nails. Or straight over your Acrylics or Gel Nails too. Most Gel Polishes have no hash chemicals in them these days.
Lasting 2 or 3 weeks you then should remove the polish. Either professionally or you can do it at home it’s quite easy only take 10-15 mins.
Best Tips for Salon Gel Polish
- Gel Polish removal with cotton pad soaked in pure Acetone.
- Apply to nail wrapped tightly with foil for 15 mins gently scrape off
- Never pick or peel as this can weaken your nails
Is Dipping Powder Nail Polish better than Gel ?
Or sometimes call SNS which stands for Signature Nail System and Gel Polish are both good options. SNS takes a little longer & lasts a little longer. Just be aware of possible hygiene with with dipping your nails in the same pots as others.
A SNS Manicure starts off Filing, Cuticles, Buffing, Base Coat, Coloured Dipping Powder & Top Coat. A gel based coat is applied. Then dipped in colour pots and sealed with a top coat and air-dried.

Gel Nails is it a more natural Fake Nail?
They do have less toxic chemicals in them and don’t have a strong smell like Acrylics. With a lighter feel & more look. But they do cost more than Acrylics but don’t last as long.
